Our people from the communities love working in the garden. The men is part of our Men's Project and learn other skills coupled with the Garden of Hope Project. Working through the soil is all about healing and to see how our people grow these amazing vegetables on these open spaces gives me tremendous Hope for our communities. If anyone would like to start their own home garden let us know. We would be happy to assist. Food security can be done through home gardens. What ever food waste u have dont throw it in the dirt bin, infact create your own compost. Together we are stronger. Please help us keep our garden safe by encouraging others to not dump their dirt infront of our garden. We trying to bring hope and dignity back in our communities by keeping the areas clean. We need you as the communities to step up and put a stop to illegal dumping. Let us go green in Vrygrond. We want to plant trees all around Vrygrond but we need you.
