On the 08th and the 09th of January 2019, Where Rainbows Meet Training and Development Foundation and the company, AEEI (African Empowerment Equity Investments) held their Annual Stationery Drive, where they handed out stationery to nearly 500 students for the 2019 school year and still continued well into the end of the week. As you are reading, parents are still coming to the organization to plead for stationery for their children. There is a huge outcry and need for initiatives like these as stationery is pricey, especially in these low or no income homes majority of the children who collected stationery come from Vrygrond, Overcome Lavender Hill and other surrounding communities. We are still pleading today to companies who would like to support this initiative to assist these communities’ kids with stationery for school.
