Our Christmas party wasn't supposed to happen but on the 18th of December 2018 through the good hearts of a few individuals we were able to surprise nearly a thousand the kids of Vrygrond and Overcome heights with a great party filled with fun activities, treats, sandwiches, watermelon and gifts galore!
Father Christmas (Santa Claus) graced us with his presence as the kids chanted for him, he appeared, walking through the crowd of children to the delight of the children. We started with the gifting, handing out to each child a present and a party pack and a photo with father Christmas.
It was great to see the joy and excitement on the children's faces, they were all hyped up from the start, not knowing what to expect, except that they were to receive a gift. Christmas isn't Christmas without giving and we believe we have to share the love, especially with the less fortunate as they might not experience a real Christmas in their own homes.
