Our Annual Stationery Drive with the company, AEEI (African Empowerment Equity Investments) which took place on the 16th January 2018.
We handed out stationery to over 700 students for the 2018 school year and still today Wednesday 17th January 2018 there are still parents coming to collect stationery for their children. There is a huge outcry and need for initiatives like these as stationery is pricey, especially in these low or no income homes majority of the children who collected stationery come from. The department of Education should consider a subsidy for parents who cannot afford stationery.
