On Thursday 7th November 2017, The women from the Siyazenzela sewing and beading project took part in in the empowerment workshop with a trip to the beach where everyone participated in the fun and games, which helps strengthen the relationship between the women. The workshop takes place every week with the women having so much anticipation for it.
The project has helped many women, those who attend the projects have been through a lot of challenges. However, they told themselves that they would not stay down. Through the project they have learnt to love themselves again. The project has helped them pull themselves out of the deep hole they thought they were in and given them a second chance in life.
